Which is the superior Pokemon, Muk or Weezing ？

Weezing can have the ability to levitate. This eliminates its weakness to Ground-Type moves and makes it weak only to Psychic-type attacks.

Weezing has more usage in VGC because of the great pair it forms with Regigigas. Also, Shiny Pokemon is not easy to catch in the game. Neutralizing Gas gets rid of Slow Start, suddenly making Regigigas way more viable.

While Muk may have a slightly higher BST, Weezing has better base stat distribution, and Buy Shiny Pokemon to upgrade the game better. Its niche as a physical wall increases its utility as support for Regigigas.
